My Life Story (From Zero to Hero)
I was once a struggling, very broke man.
In fact, things were so difficult for me in my early years of life.
Permit me to share some of my story.
I am telling you this to tell you that your situation is not permanent and that I have once been in your shoes, but something brought a change.
I am the firstborn of my family, the first of the seven children.
My parents struggled a lot to take care of us.
My parents spent almost all of their money to send us all to school, hoping that we would get a good, high-paying job after graduation.
I have struggled a lot to complete my education.
I waited for years at home after graduation to secure a meaningful job.
I had great expectations of securing a good job after my graduation.
But life did not go as I expected.
I got a $25 job as a medical counter assistant at one of the local hospitals in town.
I did not have any choice but to take this job because there was no hope of another one.
I worked from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day (over 11 hours) for just $25.
Life was so miserable for me.
And you know what?
I was not paid that $25 regularly either.
My boss was a good man, but he was also struggling in his business. The attendance was very poor, so he could not meet his promises of paying my salary.
My parents and siblings were not happy because I could not take care of them.
I could not take care of myself, let alone other people.
I ate only one or two solid meals a day.
Soaked garri was my second meal every day. Lol.
My relationship with my fiance was nearly ruined then because I could not get money to visit my fiancé regularly.
Thank God that the lady was so patient with me.
Not every lady can do that, though. Lol.
It is a big problem if you lack money in your life.
It will just seem as if heaven is closed to you. Very frustrating situation.
When these financial challenges became so unbearable for me, I began to seek help.

I came across a book called Rich Dad, Poor Dad and my mentality changed.
I realized from the book that I should not work for money but to allow money work for me.
Go to school, get good grades, get a job is a mediocre life and it only makes you work for money.

Then, I realized my problem.
I had a poverty mindset.
I had a salary mentality.
I had an average mindset.
Then, I began to seek a way to help myself.
In my way of finding a reliable way of making money daily without depending on a monthly-salary earning, I came across a digital marketing course.
I started with mini importation in 2017. I was making money, but it was not enough to meet my needs. So I started Copywriting in 2020.
My income increased after learning copywriting; it helps my mini importation business a lot. Because I made a lot of sales afterwards.
My income was not enough to meet up as a family man.
Copywriting is a very profitable and good skill, but I didn’t have enough time to write copies for clients and offer my services to Upwork and Fiverr.
